Intune Android SIP Client
Hello,
Im looking for a SIP client that we can use with our SIP telephone.
I would like to see that we can use our devicename as SIP number, but also the option has to add a managed configuration. And that users cannot change any settings in the app.
I hope someone has an idea for this.

A while back, we needed the same thing for our Android devices that could lock down the settings for our team. We didn't want anyone messing around with configurations or accidentally breaking something. We also needed a way to use our device names as SIP numbers. After trying out a few options, we found SIP Client by Acrobits, and it fit the bill perfectly. We set up a managed configuration through Intune, and it just worked. It was a relief to know that users couldn't alter any settings.

Hello r3vqu
Welcome to the Microsoft community, my name is Recep I'll be happy to help you today.
- Identify SIP Client: Choose a SIP client that supports managed configurations and can be deployed through Intune. Check the app's documentation to ensure it supports the configuration options you need.
- Integrate with Intune:
- Open the Microsoft Endpoint Manager admin center.
- Navigate to "Apps" and then "App types," and select "Android."
- Choose "Add a store app" and search for the SIP client you've chosen.
- Configure the deployment settings according to your organization's requirements.
- Configure Managed App Configuration:
- In the Intune portal, go to "Apps" > "App configuration policies."
- Create a new policy and select the app (SIP client) you added in step 2.
- Configure the managed app settings, ensuring to include the necessary SIP and device name configurations.
- Enforce App Protection Policies:
- Consider creating app protection policies to control data sharing between apps and to ensure data security within the SIP client.
- Restrict App Settings:
- In the Intune portal, navigate to "Devices" > "App configuration policies."
- Create a policy to restrict app settings and prevent users from changing critical configurations.
- Deploy the App and Policies:
- Assign the SIP client and associated configuration policies to the targeted user groups or devices.

I do know how to add apps etc.. Just want to know if there is a good SIP Client app that people use for SIP Clients.
Did find some, but not many have the support for managed app configurations.
