Difference in Platform and Profiles of Endpoint Security Antivirus

When creating a new Antivirus policy in Endpoint Security (for Windows 10 devices, soon Windows 11 laptops):

What is the difference between Windows 10, Windows 11, and Windows Server and Windows 10, Windows 11, and Windows Server (ConfigMgr) and which one should I chose?

I assume choosing the "(Preview)" profiles is more future-proof, but I'm uncertain because of the "(ConfigMgr)"  portion in the Platform name.

The "(ConfigMgr)" ones are meant to be used when you actually co-manage your endpoints between Intune and Configuration Manager. Assuming you aren't doing that, you need to use the ones without.

That will also answer your question about the "(Preview)" options: only the co-management profiles are still in preview state.
