If this is the case, you could consider moving question 3 after questions 4 and 5 or grouping questions 3 and 4 and questions 3 and 5 in separate sections with branching set to question 1. However, please note that in this case, you will need to duplicate question 3 in both sections.

but for the scenario below
if q1 choice 1 needs to be linked to section 2 and end response
but q1 choice 2 needs to be linked to section 2 and continue to section 3
i can only duplicate two section 2 right?- DingkunXieYou are correct in your understanding. The branching was set in question 1 not only for section 2, but also for section 3 in your case.
- so there is no way to set a all the way long branching from first choice to last choice based on different choice?
