Problem with opening embedded files in a .ppt presentation while using PowerPoint Live in MS Teams

I have embedded word documents in a PowerPoint presentation.  They open as expected while using normal PowerPoint presentation mode, but when using PowerPoint Live in MS Teams, I do not have an option to open the embedded files.  Is there a solution to this problem?
