Question: Has anyone ever found a way to Embed a single Excel file and use it as the source for more than one chart? Is this on anyones radar?
We all know linking excel models to powerpoint charts is bad. They break with any rename or move of the file.
The long time solution has been to embed the whole or a portion of your model. Or just the data table and manually copy/paste the values to update it.
The problem is the need to manually update every chart, and there can be hundreds of charts in certain presentations - all working off the same Excel model.
