No Audio on PPT slides

I've made thousands of PPT slides with audio voiceover. Today, it's just not working. It looks like I'm recording (using my laptop mic) and there are time's attached to each when I look at slides on a multi-slide screen, but nothing plays back and the audio icon that's usually on each slide is not there. Please help.

@Susan_Pedler I'm having a similar issue. Audio files are embedded and they play, but there's no sound. Did you happen to remember how your issue resolved?

Yes I do remember. These three boxes were NOT checked. Once I checked them, it was all good. It took me about three days and a lot of tears to figure it out. My fingers are crossed for you.
