Manually edit links in Powerpoint

I have a excel worksheet linked to a PP...I want to manually edit the links, basically I want to type in the links. I know I can change the source but I need the link to refer to a specific cell and ...

You're probably best off creating separate files if you need to refer to a specific cell...

Alternatively, find a data chart, or table which you think could represent your data correctly, and then use the corresponding cells that way.
