Connecter behaviour

Hello,

if I have connected 2 objects by a connector (with arrow) and I insert a new object between them, the connecter should now have no arrow "in front" but only an arrow at the "end" of the connector. Or in other words, can I somehow set the connector to have an arrow at the "end" of the connector for certain objects (or object types) and not for others? If yes how?

In this context, is it also possible that I can predefine the layer of all new connectors or objects?

I would like to avoid that the connector should become an own object
