Hi, Microsoft 365 Insiders! My name is Ekta Dwivedy and I’m a Product Manager on the PowerPoint team. I’m excited to share that you can now split and merge cells in tables in PowerPoint for iPad.
Split and merge table cells in PowerPoint for iPad
Splitting and merging cells in a table can help you organize your data and make it more readable. For example, by merging cells, you combine two or more cells into one larger one to create a table heading that spans several columns.
How it works
- On a PowerPoint slide that contains a table, select one or more cells.
- To merge selected cells, tap Table > Merge > Merge Cells.
- To split the selected cell, tap Table > Merge > Split Cells.
Availability
This feature is available to Beta Channel users running Version 2.82 (Build 24012417) or later.
