Creating PowerPoint presentation from Word file via Copilot
I don't want to get your hopes up too much. But are you using the web version or the desktop version? If you are using the web version, it could be that the browser (Edge?) is blocking something. Further research could be done in this direction.
mande1191 thanks for your input but I was using the desktop application. And I have just tried it with the web application and I have the same issue. 😞

Sajjad I have a license from my work and I do see the prompts to create a presentation. I can create a presentation about a particular subject, but when I try to create a presentation from an existing word file in my one-drive, copilot creates an outline and then says that it has created slides - however, the slides do not appear.

- Full Functionality Requires Copilot License: You need a Copilot for Microsoft 365 license, likely a work license based on the wording, to access all the features ("full options") for converting documents into presentations.
Here's a simpler way to understand it:
- With any Microsoft 365 subscription, you might be able to use basic conversion features in Copilot for PowerPoint.
- To unlock the full capabilities of converting documents to presentations within Copilot, you'll need a separate Copilot for Microsoft 365 license, likely provided by your workplace. c
