Why is "Focused Inbox" suddenly disappeared?
No luck for me yet. It's annoying having to open Outlook 2016 just to see emails that are in the 'other' folder because they are hidden from view in OWA.
I have Outlook 2016 installed, but don't really use it... I live in OWA.
If you use MFCMAPI to check the contents of the Inbox folder you will also see the emails that are in "Other", so it's a bit strange that OWA doesn't display them. Maybe it's a browser issue. Try clearing your cache or using another browser.

Same thing happened.
Was using Focused/Other tabs and they disappeared in the desktop application though it is there in the web based. In place are tabs All, Unread, Mentions. I see it is turned on in the web properties, though don't know where to look in the desktop application. The button on the View tab is not there, and is not in the "customize ribbon" feature.
Cannot find "Access Inbox while Offline feature" in the desktop application.

I just had this happen to me too, and I think I found the answer to what happened, at least in my case. Last night I turned on the Access Inbox while Offline feature. This morning my focused inbox was gone. I just turned off the Offline Inbox, and the Focused Inbox returned immediately. I guess it's either/or, not both/and.

I have the same issue and I have to go to Preferences -> General -> uncheck Hide On My Computer Folders. Then go to Organize and make sure Focused is on.
When I close and restart Outlook, it disappears again. So I have to redo the same process. Except that in that case I have to check and uncheck Hide On.....
It's a pain that it does not stay one.

I also have this issue....
This AM....all outlooks had focused inbox
desktop went first, then the online browser owa version has now reverted back to clutter no focused. How do I get focused back? was this changed by my company as an overall org setting?

Can you tell me in private what's the number of the service request, if you have one, or the email address of the affected mailbox? - Jason RhodesJan 26, 2017Iron Contributor
yes I do and it's very annoying.

Hello Jason,
Do you still have this issue? - Victor_UngureanuJan 11, 2017

I think you should open a support ticket. This might not solve by itself anytime soon, so there is no reason to keep waiting. - Jason RhodesJan 11, 2017Iron Contributor
Victor_Ungureanu I have tried multiple browsers on multiple systems. The same thing happens. I can only see emails that would normally be in the 'Other' folder if I look in the Inbox in Outlook 2016.
Oddly, my iPhone and iPad using Outlook iOS (latest version as of Jan 10/2017) still displays 'Focused' and 'Other', with emails being separated into both as expected.
It's just OWA that is not working, because Outlook 2016 does not have the Focus feature yet.
Everything was working fine for the 6-8 weeks I had Focused Inbox when I was prompted to opt-in to it. I go away for 2 weeks over Christmas, where it was on my phone the whole time, I login to OWA and bang... gone!
