after running message trace in Exchange admin centre, i am not able to download the completed message trace report.
it always says "The custom error module does not recognize this error."
same even if i use the new message trace under Security and Compliance->Mail flow -> message trace.
i am using Chrome browser.
is there any security settings that is blocking it ?

I believe there is an ongoing issue with downloading message traces from the SCC at the moment - my tenant has the following incident showing
This may be fixed, but if not you can still get the reports via Powershell

managed to download the message trace after waiting a while

I'm still seeing this same fault. It works in a private browser session.
The Post Incident Review for EX202641 says it was cookies related. Looks the fault is still live. :(
