Typing the title in an Excel Chart.
In Office 365 Excel I can't seem to type in the title of a Chart in the title box on the chart. This is something that I used to do all the time in Excel. What happens now is that I can select the title box, and in the bar at the top, type in my chart title. But even when I enter the new chart title it doesn't show up right away. If I go back and select the title box again, the new title appears. This is really a pain. I used to be able to make editing changes directly in the title box, with no additional mouse clicks necessary to enter any changes. Please, what setting needs to be changed. I've explored the settings but can't seem to find any that will correct this situation.
Additionally, the chart stays selected even when I select a cell in the worksheet.

Follow on to my request. It is now solved, this is what I did to solve it. Under file/options/ advanced/editing options there is the option to check or uncheck "Allow editing directly in cells" in my setup, it was indeed checked as it should have been. But out of an abundance of caution, I un checked it, then re checked it and went back to the spreadsheet.
This seemed to have fixed the problem. I can now edit directly in the title blocks in the chart, and the chart does not stay selected when I select a different cell in the worksheet away from the chart.
