Hello I am looking for some assistance updating and fixing formulas that worked in google sheets but when I transferred them to Excel they stopped functioning. I am currently using the Microsoft 365 version of Excel. I have included the File for excel and the link to google sheets.

To summerize what I am trying to do,
Under the Food Category you will manually add the price of goods to the correct column and row. This will then tally up under the monthly break down of the categories for the Monthly tab, and finally the Yearly tab will sum the total of each category per year. I have drop downs in the Monthly tab for Month and Year, and the Yearly tab only has the Year dropdown.

@mdockter Perhaps like in the attached workbook?
I guess the automatic conversion isn't really working when you use more complex functions like SUMIF and FILTER.
