Time conversion to 1/100 format

Dear community,

I learned free-style swimming and my coach suggested to use a Finis metronome.

This small beeper is shwoing the time in sec:1/100sec format

Most training programs however are suggesting to swim with a pace of 1:30sec.

Here is my question: in Excel, how can I comvert this into sec/1/100sec?

You don't give an example, but it looks like you want the whole number of seconds, followed by a colon, followed by the hundredths of a second (centiseconds).

Worksheet Sheet1 shows elapsed times in a custom format similar to what Excel times are shown in, but with more precision (column C) and the same values recalculated to show (as text) the values in that format I describe above (column D).

For more information, see the _Info worksheet.

      Dear Snowman55,
thank you a lot for your reply and considerations,
thank you further, just noticed, that it is not always easy to phrase a topic correctly 😒
Please allow me to repeat my point: my coach suggested to swim @ a pace of 1:30sec per armstroke,
in my Finis beeper, I can only enter sec, followed by 1/100sec values.
I am searching for a way to enter 1:30 and to get in a nother call the equivalent value in the Finis unit. Does this explanation make it more clear?
