Strange grey area appears on the right side while copy and paste
Hello,
my problem is that a strange grey appears on the right side of excel. The area is grey and empty it seems that there are some information meant for this area but it stays empty. The area appears when i copy a cell and move by the arrow keys to the right side of the sheet and that paste the cell.
Can anyone tell, what this area is meant for and why it keeps poping up?

To remove the grey area on the right side of Excel for Web,
you can try pressing Ctrl+A twice then right-clicking a column header and choosing unhide.
If that doesn’t work, you can try selecting the entire spreadsheet (little triangle above the 1 and left of the A), right-clicking on a column and choosing unhide.

Thanks for your quick answer. Removing is not a problem in this case you can just click at the function bar and the grey area disappears.
The Problem is more that this area keeps poping up, which is very frustrating.
What is this grey area?Normal, Page Layout, Page Layout, the page layout can be configured as required. Probably with change to normal the gray is gone.
