Pasting from macro enabled workbook warning message to disable macros

Copper Contributor

When I copy a range of cells in Excel from a macro enabled workbook, and I try to paste them into AutoCAD, the paste is interrupted by a warning dialogue that pops up in excel asking if I want to enable or disable macros (for this clipboard content I guess). The problem is, I switch applications to paste, hit CTRL+V and nothing happens. Then I have to switch back to excel, answer this question, switch back to AutoCAD and complete the paste. I'm sure lots of you use *.xlsm workbooks. How can I prevent this inconvenient message pop up? For my specific use I am not pasting any macros, just values from a macro enabled workbook. Thanks in advance for your help.

Hi Clifton,

The location of the Excel file may be untrusted!

Try to add the Excel file path to the trusted locations.

Hello Clifton

In your case, I think you should try to use paste special on AutoCAD.
In my Idea, because the value of macro which you copy from excel put into AutoCAD. After that excel read it as untrusted place. Good Luck.
