Opening a spreadsheet from a desktop PC or Laptop into Office 365

I just installed Office365 on my laptop.  Opened Excel in Office365 but can't find how to open an Excel file saved on the laptop.  Auto Help doesn't help.  Any human help will be greatly appreciated!
