My Personal.xlsb lost all saved shortcuts. Any idea?
The shortcuts in my Personal Macro disappeared, and the Developer > Macros button is unresponsive (not populated with names of existing macros, greyed buttons).
Fortunately the VBA modules are intact and I can still run macros, but the shortcuts I use very frequently for formatting files are gone. Did anybody experience the same? Any suggestions?
- I would try this:
- Close Excel
- Move personal.xlsb to a different folder and rename it
- Open Excel
- Record a macro to Personal Macro workbook
- Close Excel and let it save your now new personal macro workbook
- Open the old renamed personal macro workbook
- Copy each module from the old to the new personal macro workbook
- Close Excel, save the new macro workbook.
