Linking two rows of data in excel online workbook

The paste link feature in desktop excel isn't working for me in excel online where I need to be in a collaborative document.  Is there an online excel option?   For example, information on stock symbol MSFT appears in several rows, and it's the same information in the entire sheet.  However, I only want to update MSFT stock in the first row it appears.
