Issue With Advance Filter in Excel

Hi,

 

I was using advance filter in Excel to select the data with multiple criteria, but i found that it works as "Begins with" not "Equal To"

 

Example:

 

If my Criteria has (1) Abacus (2) Computer (3) Automation (4) se

 

In the Data if i have any entries starrting with "Se" it will filter out..... it will filter  even "seen" .

 

How can we tackle this issue in the advance filter.

    HI Isra,

     

    To filter just se, use below text in critera:-

     

    ="=se"

     

    and advance filter option will only filter the exact text "se".
