Hi there,
I would like to do the following but am struggling to work out how:
- I have a column with a persons weekly rate in e.g 2000
- I have a column with a persons days worked per week eg 0.4 days per week
- I have a column showing that they are set to work for 10 weeks - so overall costing £8000
However I want to spread this over a 10 week period showing £800 per week over 10 cells but I would like to do this by - if the cell turns blue the cell will then calculate the sum so that it shows 800.

As a beginner, I don't see anything like that.
Which version of Excel do you have?Depending on the version, the proposed solutions vary, for example whether VBA or not.
Which operating system do you have?
The proposed solutions also vary here.
It is better if a file (without sensitive data is inserted) so that people like me can propose a solution to you, not just the really big specialists :)).That in turn means for you, several proposed solutions and faster.
It is much easier to see everything in a file than having to imagine what it would look like on Excel.I probably know less than you about Excel, but even the less knowledgeable
can show a way that one had out of sight.
In the end, everyone, and especially you, would be spared the time to disagree with an ignorant person like me.
Thank you for your understanding and patience with me.
Furthermore, I wish you much success with Excel.
