TheAntony&nbsp;&nbsp;You can turn auto-save off for any given sheet. I sometimes do that on a particularly large file, where that feature (otherwise desirable) slows things down.

tim_patterson_3345&nbsp;&nbsp;That might be an over reaction. It's actually a very good service. Can you describe more what you view as "intrusive." It may be that you're having an atypical experience.&nbsp;It's virtually transparent in my experience, not intrusive at all. And I really like the fact that all my files (not only Microsoft Office related) are backed up.

mathetes&nbsp;, I agree with the advantages of transparent backups. Although sometimes, I just want to open a file to work on it and close without Excel autosaving. How can I make it read my mind? 🙂&nbsp;
