How To Graph Minutes On Excel

I'm trying to graph the time termites spent on a pattern of a path with a pen. I made a custom cell style with it being minutes and seconds but when I highlight the cells to graph them the recommended charts says "there are no recommended charts for the data I selected" What I'm i doing wrong?
