Function for finding percentage of sum

What function do I use  and how do I write it when trying to find the percentage of: (A10+A11)/5?

As the responses by HansVogelaar and Patrick2788 might suggest, your question is entirely ambiguous.

Normally one would be asking something more along the lines of "How do I calculate the percentage that x is of y?" to which the response would be x/y formatted as a percentage. That is to say, there'd be two variables or two numbers, and you'd be seeking to find the percentage the first is of the second. You've given us an expression that is the sum of two variables (A10 and A11) divided by a constant (5), but as a single expression those could be either x or y.

OR are you saying you want to know what percentage (A10+A11) is of the number/value 5?

If this latter is the case, then the formula is =(A10+A11)/5 and you format the result as a percentage. See the attached spreadsheet. Play around with different values in A10 and A11 to see the results.

But otherwise, you need to explain, as HansVogelaar has said, exactly what you mean because as your question is written it doesn't make sense.

One other possible meaning or way to understand the math: The word "percent " actually means "per hundred" so another way (without requiring formatting as a percent), would be =(x/y)*100

Or, to use your variables =((A10+A11)/5)*100

What the (per hundred) does, in multiplying the fraction by 100 is to take that fraction, whatever the denominator is, and render the result "as if" it were in parts of 100. So, for example, 1/2 times 100 turns into 50%
