As a comment, Beta is stable enough, serious issues here are very seldom. The main problem is compatibility if you share files with someone else or work in different environments.
I just updated on Beta channel and still none of those new features are appearing. My new build version is:
2312 Build 16.0.17116.20002) 64-bit
Is there something else I need to do? Reboot my PC?

Now the new Python in Excel is appearing, but no GROUPBY or PIVOTBY functions. I guess those will be coming in the next few weeks as you noted above. All good for now. Thanks again.

FYI, despite your assurances, changing to the Beta Channel started causing repeated recent crashing and corrupting of my primary Excel files, none of which had ever crashed previously. I switched back to Current Channel (Preview) late last night and have not had a single such Excel issue today. I appreciate your good intentions, but please stop encouraging such changes unless you know it will absolutely not cause such crash events. Thanks.
Steve May take a bit longer. I'm fully updated on the Beta channel, and I don't have the functions yet.
I recall when Python was announced, it took two weeks for the functionality to appear in my Excel.
I'm really looking forward to putting these functions through the paces to see what they can handle!
Yes, GROUPBY and PIVOTBY cover not all Beta users, they are deployed by waves. That's only to wait.
