Exell assumes I'm typing in wrong date format
When I go to excel 2019, my old sheets that were done in older version of excel convert from mm/dd/yy to dd/mm/yy.
I changed the OS to read US calendar, but the issue remains. On a new document if I type in 1/10/90 it will convert it to 10/1/90 This is frustrating. I want it to be january 10.

Just make sure that you change the format date in the OS,.
Are you using windows? what version?
You can change the date format in excel
Hight the cells--> Ctrl + 1 --> in format cell go to custom --> in the type write dd/mm/yyyy
