When you export an Excel spreadsheet containing pictures and then import it into a Google Site, there are a few potential reasons why the pictures may not be showing up:

    1. File Format Compatibility: Ensure that the file format you are exporting from Excel is compatible with Google Sites. Excel files can be exported in various formats such as XLSX, CSV, or PDF. Google Sites typically accepts files like PDFs, images (JPG, PNG, GIF), and other common formats. Exporting your Excel spreadsheet as a PDF might be the most compatible option.
    2. Linked Images: If the images in your Excel spreadsheet are linked from external sources (such as URLs), they may not display in Google Sites if those external sources are not accessible or allowed in the Google Site's settings. Make sure the images are embedded or included within the Excel file itself rather than being linked externally.
    3. Google Sites Permissions: Ensure that the Google Site where you're importing the Excel spreadsheet allows the display of images. Sometimes, site owners may restrict image display for security or privacy reasons.
    4. Image Size: Large images might not display properly when imported into Google Sites. Try resizing the images in your Excel spreadsheet before exporting, especially if they are too large.
    5. Browser Compatibility: Check if the issue is specific to certain web browsers. Sometimes, compatibility issues between the browser and Google Sites can affect how images are displayed.
    6. Google Site Formatting: Verify that the images are placed in an appropriate location within your Google Site page layout. Sometimes, images may not display as expected if they are placed in unsupported areas or layers.
    7. Google Drive Integration: If you are using Google Drive to store your Excel file, ensure that the images are properly uploaded and accessible within Google Drive. Sometimes, synchronization issues between Google Drive and Google Sites can cause problems with image display.

By checking these potential issues, you should be able to identify why the pictures are not showing up when you import your Excel spreadsheet into a Google Site and take appropriate actions to resolve the problem. The text was created with the help of AI.
