Excel error circular reference

How to solve type of error in excel "Microsoft Excel cannot calculate a formula. There is a circular reference in an open workbook, but the references that cause it cannot be listed for you" pls see the snap shot and suggest me....

Hi @Amit_poddar,

the error you're encountering in Excel indicates a circular reference, where a formula refers back to its own cell, causing an endless loop. To resolve this:

  1. Identify Circular Reference: Navigate to the "Formulas" tab, click on "Error Checking" in the Formula Auditing group, and select "Circular References." Excel will highlight cells with circular references.

  2. Fix Circular Reference: Adjust the formulas in the highlighted cells to eliminate the circular dependency. Ensure that a cell doesn't rely on its own value for calculations.

Carefully review your formulas to confirm they produce the expected results after making these changes.
