Error message when inserting or creating a Pivot table MSOLAP$LocalCube in Excel 365

Brass Contributor

I am inserting a Pivot table from Excel table, and it creates the Pivot table ok. However, when I check my error log, I get the following error message 6 times on every pivot table created:

MSOLAP$Localcube

The description for Event ID 25 from source MSOLAP$LocalCube cannot be found. Either the component that raises this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted. You can install or repair the component on the local computer.

If the event originated on another computer, the display information had to be saved with the event.

I have Uninstalled Microsoft 365 and reloaded all the associated apps. Checked out the internet for suggestions on the same subject but all date back to 2011-2015 on this error in Excel. none of the suggestions work on a Windows 10 Pro.

I would appreciate any assistance that you can provide.

Thanking you in advance.

In Power Query and I go to load my data to a pivot table. I do not receive any error messages . Is this only a problem with the insert in Excel?

any help would be appreciated.
