The browser crashes on the screen using HTC in IE mode of Edge.

On the screen using HTC, if you close the screen while downloading HTC,

"There was a problem with this web page, so I reopened the Internet Explorer tab."

Will be displayed and the screen will reopen.

It does not occur in IE.

If the above error occurs, the following contents will be recorded in the event log.

Is there any workaround?

We have confirmed two patterns that occur.

-After opening a modal window on a page using HTC, come back and execute close () with ScriptManager etc. in the postback process

・ On screens using HTC, close the screen quickly before downloading HTC.

Both occur when the HTC information is delayed from closing the screen,

We speculate that an access violation may have occurred based on the content of the error.
