Why, hello there, Insiders! Welcome to October’s final Top Feedback Summary! We are moving around a couple things and adding on one new item, so let’s dig into it.
Being moved to Planned for December today is both Provide an option to prevent auto-play of video and audio when you open a website and Allow more top sites on the New Tab Page. As we get closer to December (and the end of 2020!), we should have more details on these feature updates.
We’re adding a new item this week to Under Review! Enable option to match Windows display language is new feedback that the team is looking at now, and we will share more once the team completes reviewing.
This week, we’re doing something slightly different. Vertical tabs is now rolling out to more users in our Canary and Dev channels via CFR. You can learn more about vertical tabs by checking out the Insiders forums post by William here. Because it is not rolled out to all users in Dev and Canary, we are keeping the item on this list as Planned. That's all for now, chat at everyone in next week's update!

MissyQ I believe that we should **bleep** volume sliders to each individual tab. We can right click on it, and it could be on the menu.
- Wikipedia uses something like rich snippets, written manually by Wikipedia themselves, it's different from an actual full link preview, because it's just a short summery of that link.
a link preview would load an entire website, like Twitter feed, Facebook page, YouTube page, and show the Full content (not rich snippet), on hover, in a small square.
so, a link preview on hover isn't that useful, especially for pages with a lot of texts, because those texts are going to be so small displayed in a small square to the user, on hover.
link preview would be the same as tab preview when you hover over each tab and you get a small square showing the content of that tab.
Hi, will you consider adding "send to Edge Mobile for iOS"? Now I can only use "continue on PC", but I want to use it in both way. Or is it just not supporting on iOS device?
Adding more sites to the new Tab page has been asked by a lot of people so this is great!

on the new Edge, this feature is called "web capture"

MissyQ Hello. Please consider adding a built-in ad blocker. as in mobile versions of edge.
- Ad Block is already an extension in the extension shop. I think it's not necessary to build it into the edge. The Mobile version has a built-in ad blocker because it doesn't support extensions and the need to block ads is emergent, or I think the developers of the edge will not add a built-in extension. It will increase the complexity of the browser.
Please don't add an ad blocker by default! The mobile one is really laggy. Instead i would appreciate to choose the ad blocker by my own like in desktop version!
- Are you sure the existence of the ad blocker in Edge mobile is the reason it is lagyy and not the fact that it is using an old version of Chromium (version 77) ?

about the newly added item
"Enable option to match Windows display language"
is it really necessary? I mean on Windows I have multiple languages added and whenever I install Edge browser on a system for the first time, Edge automatically adds those extra languages to itself, by default: edge://settings/languages
and whichever language is the default on OS, is the default language for Edge too.
I think either this is already implemented in Edge or there is something missing about that feedback.
