Sign in with PC local account

Question

My Microsoft Edge Dev profile is somehow sign in with my PC local account until I sign out and had no idea how that came to be. Do anyone have the same situation?

in my case when i had a local account, edge asked me to connect myself to windows 10 or only edge (maybe changed now many month after), so if it's always like that it ask you what you want.But i would recommand to switch from local to microsoft account to have the security benefits of Windows Hello and authomatic sync of edge.

You had a MSFT account in your Windows too or only 1 local account in Windows?

Well I only have 1 local account on Windows. I don't connect MSFT account with my PC Windows.

Hmm strange, typically people connect it for activation, sync etc.but if you are using local, then I guess Edge will use the local one.
