MicrosoftBing Chat Disable for Remote users
Its mentioned here https://support.microsoft.com/en-au/topic/blocking-adult-content-with-safesearch-or-blocking-chat-946059ed-992b-46a0-944a-28e8fb8f1814 that Bing chat can be disabled by maping www.bing.com to nochat.bing.com using router or proxy server but how this process works for Remote users which are not connected on Corp network or VPN. Goal is to completely disable the Bing chat (Enterprise + Consumer) for all users (In Network + Remote Users)
- Hello, mapping bing.com to nochat.bing.com only blocks Bing Chat when devices are connected to your corporate network. Bing Chat is a public service, like search, and would remain available if accessed outside of the corporate network.
- @amigupta9 and Eric_VanAelstyn thanks for this but these are so non-answers... in the remote workforce world of today is Microsoft really pulling the proxy/firewall card?!
