Microsoft 365 business tenant blocked – AADSTS5000228 – sole Global Administrator

Question

Please create a service request for a blocked Microsoft Entra tenant and escalate it to the Data Protection / Tenant Recovery Team.

Tenant ID: 80940ba0-e307-45b2-b5fd-05b9759a4594

Error: AADSTS5000228

I am the sole Global Administrator.

I am posting this here, since getting microsoft support is almost impossible , via phone, email or web.

Can someone please help me with this issue.

Unfortunately, you cannot self‑recover a Microsoft 365 tenant when the sole Global Administrator is blocked with error AADSTS5000228. The only way is escalation to Microsoft Support Data Protection / Tenant Recovery Team

Did you ever have any luck with this?&nbsp; I created a test tenant as a trial, got immediately locked out.&nbsp; I've called 4 different numbers a total of 8 times.&nbsp; I never got through the awful automated system to get to a person.&nbsp; It hung up on me every single time.&nbsp; I've tried chat supports who just tell me to log in.&nbsp; I would love to log in, but I can't.
