Calling a REST service from Azure SQL DB | Data Exposed

With the new system stored procedure sp_invoke_external_rest_endpoint, available in Azure SQL Database, it is possible to call any REST service inside and outside Azure, unlocking integration opportunities that would otherwise require much more effort and complexity.
