We’re pleased to announce our latest video series, focused on troubleshooting potential issues with Azure Database for MySQL. With a new episode releasing every couple of weeks, the Azure Database for MySQL - Troubleshooting Series provides tips and tricks that you can use to anticipate and address potential issues in specific problem areas, such as performance, connectivity, replication latency, database corruption, and more!

Episode #1: Introduction to troubleshooting

In our first episode, we discuss the overall approach to troubleshooting potential issues that you might encounter while working with Azure Database for MySQL or with MySQL databases in general. We also offer a brief overview of the series and what to expect in the upcoming episodes.

 

 

 

Episode #2: Troubleshooting connectivity issues

In this second episode, we cover common errors encountered when connecting to a MySQL flexible server and discuss the tools and methods that you can use to troubleshoot and identify the causes for these errors. The episode also explores the best practices you use to avoid these types of issues.

 

 

Next up…

Our third episode, which will go live in the week of 27th Feb, takes a look at troubleshooting and resolving one of the most common causes for performance issues - high CPU utilisation.
