I migrated data from SharePoint to ADL Gen 2 and Power dataflows and Power queries started to work way faster. But there is one caveat that our SharePoint was not deployed properly, so maybe this is the reason.
Talking about your points:
1. Convert my existing Power Automate flow to an Azure Logic App
2. Write the data to Azure Blob storage
3. Modify the combining Power BI dataflow to access the Blob Storage.
#1 - cannot really say as I don't have too much experience with Power Automate.
#2 and #3 - this is a good point despite the cost. In Azure you will spend more money, depending on the sizes of your files.
