Copy data task in pipeline gives error "InternalServerError executing request"

I am getting this error when running the pipeline either on a trigger or manually. It goes into a queued status for 3-4 minutes and then fails. Each copy task is copying data from an Azure SQL database to an Azure SQL Managed instance. The connectivity on all source and destination datasets is good and I am able to preview the data. I've checked the timeout settings (set to default) and the health monitor of the ADF shows online and available. Can someone please tell me why this error is occurring and what I can do about it?
