Form Footer - Reduce space between Detail and Footer

Hello Experts,

I have a form (not pop up) where there is a lot of space between the records in the detail and the field I have in the footer.  I do not want this space.  I want the field in the footer to be right below the last record as if that field was in the detail.

    HI Karl / Arnel.

I found a solution by accident.  All I did was simply increase the height of the footer and the fields in the footer were then moved up below the fields in the detail section.  That huge amount of space disappeared.  I left the Auto Resize as "yes" but it didnt change anything if I changed it to No. My form is a Continous Form and not sure if that would have changed anything.

You can now see the fields are right below the fields in the detail section

Arnel: I was not able to use the Sigma to show the sum for all the fields .  Some fields did not show the "total" as an option and instead showed "count" (and one other that I cant remember).  I think because of the formula.

    thank you.

Ok, after my first coffee today, I see the "problem". What you can do:

      1. Open the form in design view and reduce the height of the form window so that you only see the actual form, i.e. the form sections, no (usually gray) empty space below the form.
      2. Save the form explicitely.
      3. Be sure that the property "Auto Resize" of the form is set to Yes.

oh, sorry i thought it was a report.
you can try using Datasheet form so you can Add Total (click on ribbon the sigma symbol) to your datasheet form.
