Thanks for this. When I use the splitting wizard on the original database it only creates one file, and that loads with the view shown above in 365?
Any ideas why?

Can't tell. The wizard creates a backend, YourDatabase_be.accdb, then moves the tables to this, links these in the frontend - still open - then finishes, leaving the frontend open.
