Hot on the heels of Wakelet’s Immersive Reader integration announcement last week, we’re excited to announce that – due to popular demand - Wakelet is now available as an app within Microsoft Teams. To view a public or unlisted Wakelet collection in Teams, simply open a new tab and select the Wakelet app.

Wakelet allows people to quickly and easily save, organize and share content from across the web. Educators around the world are using it to create collections of resources, newsletters, portfolios, for digital storytelling and much, much more!

We can’t wait to see the innovative ways educators will be using Wakelet within Microsoft Teams and how it changes the classroom experience.  Perhaps you’ll use it to share collections of online resources with the rest of your department or faculty (SEL resources, Minecraft lesson ideas, and STEM projects, for example). Or, you could invite your colleagues or PLN to collaborate on a shared collection that can be added as a tab to quickly circulate resources and ideas related to a particular topic or event.

Educators can also use the new Wakelet Teams app with their classes. Why not invite your students to collaborate on a group collection and then add it to a tab in their Class Team to share it with the rest of the class? You could even create a reference collection of resources for students to access as part of their assignment or study unit. Add the collection as a tab and your class will be able to find everything they need in one place (and avoid unnecessary distractions!)

The Wakelet app is not on my list of available apps within teams.  How do I add it as a tab within a channel?
