Excel - Spaces categorization
Hi Olaf Hubel, that is to continue Yammer discussion. Categorization is always hard, it could be different logic behind, different scenarios of usage and it's not possible to make everyone happy.
As for me I'd prefer much less spaces here. Bit hard to follow all of them shifting between 8 spaces; not a lot of conversations here at least so far. In Yammer it was the same, however that was relatively new group.
For example, Exchange community, as well as some others, has only one Space and it looks like that's okay for the discussions.
Here perhaps two spaces will be enough, not sure how to name - one for everything what is inside Excel (Data analysis with BI and PQ, formulas, visualization, etc.) and one for everything what is outside (announcments, external links, etc.).

- Olaf HubelFormer EmployeeThanks for the feedback. The idea of the sub categories is that it will make it easier to filter based on interest. The The top level page https://network.office.com/t5/Excel/ct-p/Excel_Cat actually shows all conversations, including those form sub groups. So you would be able to have that 1 view to stay updated and don't need to click on each group. Hope that helps.
As for traffic, we just came online a couple of weeks ago and are still in pilot mode. :-)- SergeiBaklanDiamond Contributor
Olaf, categorization could be never ended discussion. For today i see nothing critical in any one, we may return back to this in an year. If the platform allows re-categorization depens on curent needs i see no problems at all, you always could adjust the structure. If that's 'in stone' - that could be an issue.
