Please enable universal printing available on mobile clients so business users are able to print directly from phone or tablet.
I’ve had the same issue reported by a customer.
I tested it on Android. You can print with Universal Print from Edge.
You log in to OneDrive, under ‘My Files’.
For files such as .docx, .xlsx, .ppt and .pdf, you have the option to print.
The reason for the issue is that printing on Android does not connect to Universal Print. Android searches for printers locally. Whereas on Office Web, you are connected directly.
However, I don’t have the answer for iOS, but it shouldn’t be too far off from working in the same way.
