Allow own editing after posting a new question into any of Community Lounge Discussion Boards
P.S. Because doing the same was also not allowed after I posted this new idea, I obviously just meant UI & UX consistency... 😇
Community ManagerI wonder if the problem here is that your not recognizing how to edit your posts after you post them? I have checked your profile and you definitely have permission to edit your own posts.
How to edit a post is dependant on if its a net new post or a reply to an existing post.
If its a net new post, i.e. a new Idea or a new topic in a discussion, you need to click the cog at the top right of the UI (opposite the breadcrumb) and then click edit:
Now if its a reply to an idea or a topic you have to click the three dots next to the reply you want to edit and click edit.
Let me know if this answers this for you, I think there maybe some feedback in here about the ways to edit are to .. divorced from the content or different between topics and replies but ill wait your feedback.
