Microsoft 365 Quarantine Notification-allow frequency per day & transmission times to be set

Currently Quarantine notification settings only allow you to "Send end-user spam (Quarantine) notifications every (days)": 1 to 15, with no provision to specify quantity per day or the time of day they are transmitted.

 

To improve efficiency when false positive emails are Quarantined, it is highly desirable to:

1. Allow setting the quantity of Quarantine notifications emails to be sent per day. eg. 4 per day

2. Allow specifying the time of day Quarantine notifications emails are sent. eg. 9:00am, 12:00pm, 3:00pm and 6:00pm.

    The amount of notification emails is almost to the SPAM level. Needs to be able to be dicated/controlled.

    Agreed. More flexibility is required for Quarantine functionality.

     

    Our business model requires us to handle "medical enquiries" on behalf of our clients within a 24hr period of being received. We have now had 2 incidents where Quarantine email notifications are received in the Inbox outside of the 24hrs enquiry response window, thus affecting our ability to meet our contract SLA.

     

    Consequently, the choices we face are 1.) Disable the Quarantine Policy at the Tenant level and deal with all the Pish/etc. at the mailbox level or through mail flow filtering rules. 2.) Risk patient safety and our customer relationships due to the rigid Quarantine notifications configuration.
