Event details
Join us for a special Ask Microsoft Anything (AMA) live video stream across four Microsoft content collaboration products: SharePoint, OneDrive, Lists, and Stream! Our product teams will be answering your questions about future roadmap and recent innovation – and offering insights on what to expect in the coming months.
Each team will present five minutes of content to catch you up on the highlights, and to spark what questions you might ask, and then have 10-15 minutes to take your questions. Post your questions at any time – starting your question with the product name to help us navigate it to the right experts; example: “SharePoint: How will Copilot help me create pages and news in the future?”
This is a great opportunity to get answers to any questions you may have from recent Microsoft 365 Conference (May 2-4, 2023) disclosures: Review Jeff Teper’s May 2nd (5/2) blog post.

- GamerzKrisBrass Contributor[LISTS] Regarding the new 'Forms' for Lists that were briefly shown during the presentation, are those Forms available to be used in SharePoint or Outlook via Lists, as there is concerns with the 'visibility' of the Lists content when utilizing the tool as a Service Desk tool.
- CaroleSLIron ContributorLists - Is this announced or released? I'm not seeing rating columns
- HelenaStarenbyKnowitBrass ContributorNot released yet.

Lists - At least in SharePoint, if you select a calendar view the title is truncated and it only selects the record, you need to click the "i" to open the sidebar. What about a popup or sidebar view of the item (bonus, with a new option in Advanced list settings that let you default to a page for the form but a popup for the calendar view)?
Also, the usablity is difficult. Opening/closing the day view, the two-click item view... Please keep working on this!
- Matthew SpewakBrass ContributorCould not agree more. This is what business users tell me all the time. We can't see more than two entries! They want to get an 'at a glace' view that they are familiar with, one more like what is available in Outlook Calendars.
- RobSchmidtIron ContributorAre recurring events for Lists in the roadmap? We have 2 organizations (hospital system and teaching hospital) that have separate tenants. Get A LOT of requests to manage common calendar. Current choices (modern list, classic sharepoint calendar) doesn't include channel calendar, because 1/2 of group are guests. Love that bringing in week view.
- CatherineBrass ContributorColor folders are great for me but must be concerned about color contrast options for low vision or color blind. Is there an option to have black text on light color folders? Will the color folder option still be a visual for those who use their computers in dark mode?
- TechresaBrass ContributorLists - can you share with external users by email address without them being a guest user in the tenant and without opening the form to anyone on the internet?
- TechresaBrass ContributorTo clarify, I need to be able to have customers fill out the form. Because they are customers, they are not guest users in Azure AD. With Microsoft Forms, they can only fill out the form if I open the form to anyone. However, that opens the form to everyone on the internet. Anyone who comes across the link could fill it out. I need to be able to limit the ability to fill out the form to just my customers by their email address.
- JenVHOBrass Contributorlists: the changes sound great! is there a plan to include other calendar views like monthly?
- uUUsuBBRLvsjhFW7Iron ContributorWhat about Yearly?
- CatherineBrass ContributorLISTS is very mouse dependent. Are there keyboard commands / controls being built to allow those who cannot use a mouse? Can't promote something internally that all are not able to use.

SharePoint List: when will List/Column Formatting support Rich Text Formatted of Multiple line of text columns, without showing the HTML tags?
- uUUsuBBRLvsjhFW7Iron Contributor
RTF columns are now shown with HTML tag in Column Formatting.
Unfortunately, Mark didn't get the question right.
- Matthew SpewakBrass ContributorThis is also a BIG need in our organization. We need to use formatting like hyperlinks in multiple line of text columns, but it prevents us from using some much needed formatting features. Hoping there will be ability to use rich text without rendering the tags as text.

[SharePoint / Lists] Are there plans to improve the "Export to Excel" feature to more intuitively make clear that it will only export the current view? Or better, are there plans to introduce a question to the confirmation prompt to ask whether to export the current view or a different view (i.e. so that the user doesn't need to know they must change the view before the clicking the Export to Excel button).
