Content Types, Document Sets, Manage Metadata, Term Store, Terms, Site Columns, Information management features just to mention are these constructs visible or considered in AI?

The new Discover looks great and seems finally useful for our customers. The idea of a central publish page for creating pages and news is also good. But it looks the handling of templates is a little bit strange. In typical intranet projects for example, we currently provision the customer specific page and news templates (neccesary due to corporate design) to each site. But how can i use these customer specific templates ? especially when the same templates for news are neccesary in all sites ?
- Marc Mroz
Microsoft
In the new SharePoint Publish page, it shows you the most recent page/news templates from across your sites. So you can easily start in Publish and create a page directly in the site that template is from. So as you use those page templates from various sites they'll pop to the top of the list of templates on Publish.

Question for the AMA:
I noticed in one of the posts today that the Viva Connections app is being renamed to the SharePoint App. Does this mean that there are changes to the Viva Connections licensing model, or will there be limitations on which parts of VC can be used without a license?

Hello,
Please watch https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/roadmap?searchterms=557983. We should have a MC post out this month detailing some very exciting updates on that front!

Love the new amplify feature! What “amplify” tie in to Viva Engage Storylines are coming? What about Viva Engage Communities?
- Marc Mroz
Microsoft
Viva Amplify already lets you promote a SP News post to an Engage story line or up to 5 Engage communities. Or if you use the Amplify app you can send to those two options from a Publication.

As we evolve AI capabilities for organizations, the capability for organizations and 'citizen developers' continues to grow, diminishing the need from Microsoft partners. Where do we see the direction of Microsoft Partners going to support organizations in this journey?

My firm does not use Copilot in any form. How many licenses are needed to take advantage of Copilot and not be stuck in 2024?

I've noticed that many webparts aren't inherently accessible. With all these fun functionalities and designs coming, what considerations have been put in place for accessibile experiences and accessibility for all?
- Denise Trabona
Microsoft
Hi Hannah, thank you for the question here. We hold a high bar for accessibility for all our experiences. If you are having issues with any of our web parts we would like to hear specifics so we can work to address.

SharePoint literally defined my career in IT. I started working with SharePoint in 2003, got my first SharePoint consultancy job in 2005, co-owned a SharePoint consultancy firm in 2010 and became a SharePoint MVP in 2016. So cool to see where SharePoint is now and how it is still in the heart of Microsoft's collaboration suite. Happy birthday SharePoint!!

Are there plans to mark content or site as official knowledge source in SharePoint? To prioritize this in search or Copilot.
