The new Discover looks great and seems finally useful for our customers. The idea of a central publish page for creating pages and news is also good. But it looks the handling of templates is a little bit strange. In typical intranet projects for example, we currently provision the customer specific page and news templates (neccesary due to corporate design) to each site. But how can i use these customer specific templates ? especially when the same templates for news are neccesary in all sites ?
MicrosoftIn the new SharePoint Publish page, it shows you the most recent page/news templates from across your sites. So you can easily start in Publish and create a page directly in the site that template is from. So as you use those page templates from various sites they'll pop to the top of the list of templates on Publish.
