- SRBADavidCopper ContributorWhen will we be able to access custom fields from power automate flows? Maybe we're doing something wrong but our flows can't see them and we couldn't find them anywhere in the dataverse tables.
- SRBADavidCopper ContributorHow about never sending notifications to the entire team when entering a comment in a task? In what situation does the entire team need to see every comment for every task? If I need someone other than those assigned or watching to see a comment I'll use @mention, that's what it's there for.

Microsoft
Hello David, We’re working on improving the notification experiences related to task comments and look forward to sharing more details about this in the future.

Dark mode, please! (for the web version at project.microsoft.com; the Teams view looks great
)
Unless there's a secret URL parameter I can pass it like ?darkModePlease=true ? Already tried playing with the Teams iFrame URL but it doesn't like to load outside of Teams. - ToreLorentzenBrass Contributor
I hope Microsoft has worked on and implemented the following features that are missing in today's Planner:
1. The ability to mention a person in a comment so that the person receives a notification, even if they are not assigned to the card.
2. Drag and drop functionality for adding files to the cards.
- mroberts1040Copper ContributorGiven that exporting from Planner to Excel already works, I would really like to have the ability to upload Excel data directly into Planner instead of having to create a Power Automate workaround.
- dayloreCopper ContributorWould like to see Planner be able to export projects into a PowerPoint presentation via Automate.
- RWestraad1980Brass ContributorI hope you are working on: (1) Swimlane Task Grouping (2) Swimlane Task Grouping displayed underneath Outlook Calendar (Day, Work Week, Week views) (3) Displaying mutiple items on a task (No choosing between notes, subtask tick list or an attachment) (4) Planner Tasks to appear in the My Day To Do panel as they appear in the To Do app.
- Jace_CBrass ContributorA few questions I hope will be discussed: - Are there any plans to allow private boards within a group? Currently, we create a new group every time a team needs a private board amongst themselves. This is very cumbersome. - Any thoughts of including subtasks within Planner (not Planner Premium)? Subtasks seem like a very basic feature that shouldn't require an additional cost to use. Instead, my hope is Planner Premium would provide richer tools for managing more complex, cross-team and strategic projects extending what MS Project has done in the past. Subtasks should not be considered a premium feature in my opinion. - Any thoughts on a more streamlined intake form? Many teams want an intake form for employees to submit tasks into their planner board. While it is possible to connect an MS Form as the intake form with PowerAutomate, it is a tedious process that most teams struggle to setup without assistance. A more intuitive, streamlined approach would be extremely helpful. - Any thoughts for allowing custom fields on Planner tasks? Many teams want to include more details on the tasks being created. Currently, this is being done within the notes section but allowing custom fields to be created for use within a Planner board would reduce user error and ensure information is stored in an organized manner for metrics and reports.
- mrclementliuCopper ContributorWill Planner enable the assignment of checklist tasks to individuals, rather than only the entire project?
- stephenm1400Copper Contributori really hope MS plan to allow filtering planner tasks based on date ranges or "due next month" etc. its really difficult to manage reviewing tasks without it.
- StephenMcGillBrass Contributori need to see what tasks we've got coming up where due dates are this month and or next month. currently, using graph, we've built some power automation that sends me an email on request grouping all the tasks by month due so i can see it that way but it would be so much easier if i can do that with Planner UI natively rather than just allow this week, next week and "future". happy to expand more or show you what we use if that will help you. thanks
- David_HopkinsFormer EmployeeThanks for the feedback Stephen. I'd like to learn more about how you would envision using a date range filter. Could you share more about what ranges/filters you would like to use and what they would be useful for?
